Can demons hear people's thoughts?
Can demons hear people's thoughts?
Demons may be able to hear people's thoughts: Biblical evidence:
Ecclesiastes 10 & Luke 8:
It is written: "DO NOT CURSE A KING IN YOUR THOUGHT; and do not curse the rich in your bedrooms; FOR A BIRD OF THE HEAVENS MAY CARRY THE VOICE; yea, the lord of wings may tell the matter" (Ecclesiastes 10:20 (Masoretic)).
Here the author indicates that it is possible for something said "IN YOUR THOUGHT" (Ecclesiastes 10:20 (Masoretic)) to be carried by "A BIRD OF THE HEAVENS" (Ecclesiastes 10:20 (Masoretic)) somewhere to "tell the matter" (Ecclesiastes 10:20 (Masoretic)), which could imply that the matter said in the thought was heard in some sense by that bird of the heavens.
In a parable of the soils, Jesus mentioned "THE BIRDS OF THE HEAVENS" (Luke 8:5) as being "THE DEVIL [which] comes and takes-away the word FROM THEIR HEART" (Luke 8:12).
Demons may be able to hear people's thoughts: Evidence from modern cases:
There can be evidence to infer that demons are still being cast out even up to today.

When demons are reported to be inside of people, people report that when they say something within their own heart (or think something in themselves) the demon may respond to what was said or thought inside of them. This suggests that the demon inside of them could hear that.
Demons are able to speak, which is why they are also able to respond when they hear something.

If demons are able to hear people's thoughts, what should people do?:
If demons are able to hear people's thoughts, people are not supposed to give up on having thoughts, but people are called to discipline their thoughts to the obedience of Christ.
Paul instructs us that we are to be "taking-captive every thought to the obedience (of) Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Paul instructs us to "be-considering these (things): whatever (things are) true, whatever (things are) honorable, whatever (things are) right, whatever (things are) pure, whatever (things are) lovely, whatever (things are) commendable, if (there is) any virtue, and if (there is) any praise" (Philippians 4:8).
