Casting out demons: in what environment can it happen?

In what environment can someone cast out demons? Can it happen in public? Can it happen outside? Can it happen inside a house? 

You will find below evidence in the Bible of different places in which demons were cast out of people.

Casting out demons can happen in a synagogue

It is written about Jesus that "HAVING-ENTERED INTO THE SYNAGOGUE (on) the Sabbath, He-was-teaching" (Mark 1:21) and "there-was (a) man IN THEIR SYNAGOGUE with (an) unclean spirit" (Mark 1:23) and "the unclean spirit, having-convulsed him and called-out (with a) loud voice, CAME-OUT of him" (Mark 1:26).

As a side note, Christians would sometimes later meet in synagogues, as for example James wrote to "brothers" (James 2:1) "having the faith (of) our Lord Jesus Christ" (James 2:1) about a man that could enter "INTO YOUR SYNAGOGUE" (James 2:2).

Casting out demons can happen inside a house

It is written about Jesus and His disciples that "they-came INTO THE HOUSE (OF) SIMON AND ANDREW" (Mark 1:29), and from there "they-were-bringing to Him all the (ones) being ill and the (ones) being-demonized" (Mark 1:32) as "the whole city was gathered-together AT THE DOOR" (Mark 1:33). Here the crowd would have been "AT THE DOOR" (Mark 1:33) of the "THE HOUSE (OF) SIMON AND ANDREW" (Mark 1:29), while Jesus would have still be inside that house. From there, "HE-CAST-OUT many demons" (Mark 1:34).

As a side note, Christians would sometimes later meet in houses, as for example it is written that "he-went to THE HOUSE (OF) MARY, the mother (of) John, the (one) being-called Mark, WHERE there-were many assembled-together and praying" (Acts 12:12). 

Casting out demons can happen outside in different locations

It is written about Jesus and His disciples that "they-sailed-down to the country (of) the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. And HE HAVING-GONE-OUT ON THE LAND, (a) certain man from the city met (Him), having demons" (Luke 8:26-27). The parallel account found in Mark indicates that this happened as soon as Jesus came out of the boat, as it is written: "And HE HAVING-GONE-OUT OF THE BOAT, immediately (a) man with (an) unclean spirit met Him" (Mark 5:2). It is then there recorded about "the unclean spirits, HAVING-COME-OUT" (Mark 5:13). Jesus would have just been out of the boat, on the land, when He then cast out a demon from someone there.

Another example: it is written that "(WHILE) WE (WERE) GOING TO THE (PLACE OF) PRAYER (that a) certain servant-girl having (a) spirit (of) python met us" (Acts 16:16) and she started doing things as it is written that "she-was-doing this for many days" (Acts 16:18). It is then written that, seemingly as they may have been outside, "Paul, having-been-worked-up, and having-turned (to) the spirit, said, “I-command you in (the) name (of) Jesus Christ to-depart from her” And (it) WENT-OUT (at) the very hour" (Acts 16:18).

If people are around a scene where a demon is cast out, it does not have to be perceived as necessarily negative 

It is possible for people witnessing a demon being cast out to react positively after it happens.

Furthermore, casting out demons can be considered a miracle, which could make people to believe if they witness it, which would be a good thing.

Would there be a risk if people are around a scene where demons are cast out? 

When Jesus was casting out demons in a house, it was recorded that "THE WHOLE CITY was gathered-together AT THE DOOR" (Mark 1:33). There are no indications that Jesus seemed to have been concerned by people or even little children that might have been around witnessing these things, as there are also no indications that He warned them of any danger of witnessing these things. There may also be more reasons to infer on why this may have been the case.
