Ephesians 4:27 - Place to the devil?

Does Ephesians 4:27 indicate a need for deliverance for those who have been believers in the past?

Ephesians 4:27: "nor give (a) PLACE (to) the devil."

Nor give a "place" to the devil?

Paul wrote to "(to) the saints being in Ephesus and faithful in Christ Jesus": "Do not let the sun go-down upon your angriness, nor give (a) PLACE (to) the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27).

The same Greek word for "PLACE" (Ephesians 4:27) was used when Jesus said: "when the unclean spirit departs from the person, it-goes-through waterless PLACES seeking rest. And not finding (it), then it-says, ‘I-will-return to my house from where I-came-out’. And having-come, it-finds (it) having-been-swept and put-in-order. Then it-proceeds, and takes along seven other spirits more evil (than) itself. And having-gone-in, they-dwell there" (Luke 11:24-26).

The unclean spirit is thus going through PLACES seeking rest until it finds it.

This could imply that the enemy may try to find a "PLACE" (Ephesians 4:27) in someone giving "(a) PLACE (to) the devil" (Ephesians 4:27) in order to find rest there. If so, it may be possible then that unclean spirits "having-gone-in" (Luke 11:26) the person would thus be there as it is described that "they-dwell there" (Luke 11:26) afterward.

A place... to "the devil"?

Paul wrote to "(to) the saints being in Ephesus and faithful in Christ Jesus": "Do not let the sun go-down upon your angriness, nor give (a) PLACE (to) THE DEVIL" (Ephesians 4:26-27).

It was written about Judas that at some point "THE DEVIL already having-put into the heart (of) Judas, (son of) Simon Iscariot, that (he) should-hand Him over" (John 13:2). In that context, Judas may have given a place in his heart to THE DEVIL. Later in the same chapter, after that Judas showed no sign of relenting, it was written about "Judas" (John 13:26) that "at that time SATAN ENTERED into that (one)" (John 13:27).

The term "SATAN" can be used interchangeably with the term "THE DEVIL". For example, in one account it is written: "He was in the wilderness forty days being-tempted by SATAN" (Mark 1:13) and in the parallel account from another author it is written: "Jesus was-led-up into the wilderness by the Spirit to-be-tempted by THE DEVIL" (Matthew 4:1).

If Judas did give a place to the devil who ended up entering him, could it be that someone giving a place to the devil could end up (under certain conditions) entering such a person? If so, could it be what Paul may have warned his audience about?

"Do not be sinning"?

Paul wrote: "Be-angry and (yet) DO NOT BE-SINNING. Do not let the sun go-down upon your angriness, nor give (a) PLACE (TO) THE DEVIL" (Ephesians 4:26-27).

Paul may have used a literary device in the form of ABAB:
A: "angry"
B: "SINNING"
A: "angriness"
B: "PLACE TO THE DEVIL"

Paul wrote: "BE-ANGRY and (yet) DO NOT BE-SINNING. Do not let the sun go-down upon your ANGRINESS, NOR give (a) PLACE (TO) THE DEVIL" (Ephesians 4:26-27).

Here the "PLACE (TO) THE DEVIL" (Ephesians 4:27) could be given if someone would "BE-SINNING" (Ephesians 4:26).

This could be consistent with SINNING being a possible reason why a demon may be able to enter someone.
