Casting out demons: can be considered having mercy on someone

Casting out demons can be considered having mercy on someone

Casting out a demon from someone can be described as having mercy on that person

For example it is written: "(a) man came to-Him, kneeling-before Him, and saying, “Master, HAVE-MERCY-ON MY SON" (Matthew 17:14-15). Later, it is described: "Jesus rebuked it, and THE DEMON DEPARTED from HIM, and THE BOY was-cured from that hour. Then the disciples, having-come to Jesus in private, said, “For what reason were we not able TO CAST IT OUT?”" (Matthew 17:18-19).

Another example: there was "(a) man with (an) unclean spirit" (Mark 5:2). A description is then given about "the unclean spirits, HAVING-COME-OUT" (Mark 5:13). After Jesus performed this, He said to the man: "report to them all-that the Lord has-done (for) you, and (that) He HAD-MERCY ON YOU" (Mark 5:19).

God desires mercy

God desires mercy, as Jesus said: "“The (ones) being-strong have no need (of a) physician, but the (ones) being ill. But having-gone, learn what it-means: ‘I-DESIRE MERCY, and not (a) sacrifice’." (Matthew 9:12-13). This is a quote from Hosea 6:6 in which it is written: "Hear (the) word of the LORD" (Hosea 4:1), and the LORD GOD said: "I DESIRE MERCY and not sacrifice" (Hosea 6:6).

God is rich in mercy, as it is written about "GOD, being RICH in MERCY" (Ephesians 2:4).

God expects us to be merciful

God expects us to be merciful, as Jesus said: "BLESSED (are) the MERCIFUL (ones), because they will-be-shown-mercy" (Matthew 5:7).
