Self deliverance: can someone cast out demons from themselves?

Can someone cast out demons from themselves? That is, is self-deliverance something that can be possible? 

There seems to be no explicit direct biblical account of someone casting out demons from themselves, but there may be biblical principles which could allow for it to be possible. 

Biblical principles

1) For example, it is written that someone can DELIVER HIMSELF as a bird out of a SNARE, as it is written: "Do not give sleep to your eyes, nor slumber with your eyelids; that you SHALL DELIVER YOURSELF as a gazelle out of a noose, and as a bird out of a SNARE" (Proverbs 6:4-5 (LXX)).

Paul actually used the same Greek word for "SNARE [pagis 3803 in Greek]" (Proverbs 6:5 (LXX)) when he wrote about a "SNARE [pagis 3803 in Greek] (of) the devil" (1 Timothy 3:7, 2 Timothy 2:26).

2) Biblical commands are directed toward people to command them to do things THEMSELVES in order for the devil to flee from them. For example, James wrote: "submit (to) God, but resist the devil and (he) will-flee from you" (James 4:7). 

3) There are no biblical principles that seem to disallow it from being possible with God. 

Many people report to have successfully cast out demons from themselves and report that demons came out of them as a result of doing so.
