2 Corinthians 10:4 - Fortresses?

Does 2 Corinthians 10:4 indicate a need for those who have been believers in the past?

2 Corinthians 10:4: "For the weapons (of) our warfare (are) not fleshly, but powerful (in) God for (the) tearing-down (of) FORTRESSES. (We are) tearing-down considerations"

Deliverance for believers?

It was written "(to) the church (of) God being in Corinth, together-with all the saints being in all Achaia" (2 Corinthians 1:1) that "the weapons (of) our warfare (are) not fleshly, but powerful (in) God for (the) tearing-down (of) FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

The "tearing-down (of) FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4) is indicated next to "tearing-down considerations" (2 Corinthians 10:4), and is part of "the weapons (of) our warfare" (2 Corinthians 10:4) which "(are) not fleshly" (2 Corinthians 10:4), that is, they are concerned with spiritual realities.

The Greek word for "FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4) appears only once in the New Testament, but several times in the Old Testament.

For example, it is written: "thorn trees will grow up in their cities, and in her FORTRESSES; and they will be habitations of monsters, and a court of ostriches. And demons will meet with satyrs, and they will cry another to the other; there satyrs will rest, HAVING FOUND for themselves REST" (Isaiah 34:13-14).

The verse seems to indicate that "in her FORTRESSES" (Isaiah 34:13) "demons" (Isaiah 34:14) will meet with satyrs which would FIND for themselves "REST" (Isaiah 34:14) there. As demons meet with satyrs, it may be implied that they will also go where the satyrs would be. Could this imply that the demons would go and FIND also for themselves REST in the "FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4)?

If so, could this principle be applied to "our warfare" (2 Corinthians 10:4) which is "not fleshly" (2 Corinthians 10:4) and which is also concerned with "FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4)?

The same Greek words for "HAVING FOUND for themselves REST" (Isaiah 34:14) were also used when Jesus said: "when the unclean spirit departs from the person, it-goes through waterless places seeking REST, and does not FIND (it). Then it-says, ‘I-will-return to my house from-where I-came-out’. And having-come, IT-FINDS (it) being-unoccupied, having-been-swept and put-in-order. Then it-proceeds and takes-along with itself seven other spirits more-evil (than) itself. And having-gone-in, they-dwell there" (Matthew 12:43-45).

Could it be that unclean spirits could FIND REST in the "FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4) of someone, and decide that "having-gone-in, they-dwell there" (Matthew 12:45)? If so, there may be believers who could also have "FORTRESSES" (2 Corinthians 10:4) who may also be in need of deliverance.
